Aimed Dance Summer Fest 2025 brings performers, dance makers, and audiences together for two weeks of classes, concerts, and community events in one summer celebration of contemporary dance.
Aimed Dance is seeking works to be featured during Festival Concert I (July 10 - 12) and Festival Concert II (July 17 - 19) presenting professional companies and independent artists in Beaumont, TX. Professional works 4 - 12 minutes in length demonstrating clarity of overall choreographic vision, attention to movement invention, and sophisticated design choices from a diverse perspective and background through a contemporary lens are invited to apply for consideration.
Selected choreographers will receive a $100 travel stipend and professional photography and videography of their work.

Aimed Dance is seeking new works by festival participants to be set on the company July 7 - 12 or July 14 - 19 as well as up to four master classes offered each weekend. Both opportunities are compensated. If interested, please note this in your application.
Submission Process
To apply, you will need a short biography and headshot/action short for the choreographer/ company along with a short description and an URL of the completed work being considered,
If interested in setting a work on the company, supplemental application requirements include a proposed project description, curriculum vitae/ resume, and choreography reel.
If interested in teaching a master class, supplemental application requirements include teaching preference and up to two class descriptions with appropriate title(s).

FAQ & Tips:
- The videos have worked best as an unlisted or public YouTube link. Vimeo is also accepted. If password protected, please send password with application. Videos may be rehearsal footage versus a stage performance and should be presented with a clear and unobstructed view.
- An organization, company, or artist may submit more than one work, but no more than 2. A submission form and fee must be completed per work.
- Choreographers will receive a $100 stipent. Discounted hotel rates will be available. Companies and artists should be prepared to cover travel costs including but not limited to lodging, transportation, and food.
Important Dates to Remember:
Submission are due by February 15, 2025.
Selections will be announced by April 1, 2025.
Participants selected to perform in Festival Concert I must be available July 10 - 12, 2024.
Participants selected to perform in Festival Concert II must be available July 17 - 19, 2024.
